North to... Michigan???

It is that time again...we are planning our vacation.  However, I think we "plan" our vacations a lot different than other people.  We tend to set a time frame, pick a general area (for example: Michigan), pack camping equipment & clothing to suit the climate in that area, and head out on the motorcycle.  Simple, right?  Once we have arrived, we then look at the weather forecast to make the next set of "plans."  We have been blessed to see some of the most beautiful country & have the most fun with friends & family that you could expect to have on any vacation.  So, this year we have picked Michigan's Upper Peninsula as our destination.  However, we are also taking our passports.  Canada is so close....

Danny & I will spend the next few days getting ready, so we can leave later in the week.  Danny will spend his time checking every mechanical function on the motorcycle & packing tools, extra parts, etc.  I will spend the time contemplating all the camera equipment that I need to pack.  Camping equipment, food & clothing will also have to be decided upon.  However, those are also things we can pick up at our daily Wal-Mart stop if we forget something.  Looking forward to our adventure this year!
